Illipe Butter is a creamy, white solid butter expeller pressed from the sun-dried nuts of the Shorea Stenoptera plant. This exotic material has been refined, bleached, and deodorized to yield a neutral butter with a bland color and aroma. Illipe butter is a favored ingredient in the formulation of personal care and topical cosmetic products with a melting point of 45° Celsius (113° Fahrenheit) and naturally high stearic, oleic, and palmitic fatty acids content. These natural attributes yield beneficial properties for dry, cracked, or aging skin, in particular. Illipe butter has been gaining traction in the production of soaps, body lotions, body butters, sunscreen, lipsticks, balms, and face and hair treatments for its effective moisturizing and emollient properties.
