Organic Rosemary Extract 5% is obtained from dried rosemary leaves via ethanol extraction, prior to being added to organic sunflower oil as its carrier. This natural extract yields a dark green to brown appearance with a mild herbaceous aroma and contains 5% carnosic acid, a natural diterpene sought after for its powerful antioxidant properties. Organic rosemary extract is a popular ingredient in cosmetic and personal health care formulations such as serums, moisturizers, shampoos, conditioners, and topical skin and haircare treatments. Throughout the food industry, organic rosemary extract is often used as a flavor enhancer, preservative, and in place of synthetic additives so manufacturers can maintain clean label claims.
