Organic Soy Lecithin in liquid form is a viscous brown fluid obtained by cracking, dehulling, and pressing of organic soybeans followed by a degumming and drying process of the crude soybean oil. Soy lecithin is largely distributed as a surfactant with highly effective emulsifying properties and lubricating attributes. Throughout the food and beverage manufacturing industry, lecithin aids in thickening a formulation, increasing viscosity, and stabilizing emulsions of recipes, confections, fat spreads, and boosting the volume of dough. In the cosmetic realm, soy lecithin emulsifies oil and water-based ingredients together to manufacture items such as lipstick, foundation, gel eyeliner, night serums, makeup remover, and liquid blush. Additionally, various industrial applications utilize soy lecithin such as in the production of capsules, animal feed, paint, and ink.
